Phase 2

Aside from whatever pleasure any  visitors may derive from viewing the image-sets presented in this library --

these presentations have been designed to accommodate those who wish to continue exploring the

process of converting basic "image-sets" into basic "video presentations" ----- which they

 can then "play with" as they wish -- changing frame transitions, timing, music, etc. 

From that point, students can also practice converting basic videos into

more sophisticated -- or different -- video forms for viewing

on various mobile devices and/or on computers

other than the basic PC used by S-1

to create this Keeper Library.

In Phase 2, the emphasis is on the 1024 x 768 resolution sets -- which offer the best results

relative to the quality of both images and music.  You are encouraged to try this

"resolution" first -- and then ONLY if you have a problem with lack of

smoothness in the viewing process should you move

 down to the lower resolution formats.

And now for a MAJOR item that needs to be stated for the record.  S-1 did NOT create any of the

original art to be found in AHLEC's Keeper Library.  All basic images come from postings

on the internet ----- which means they may be copies of copies of copies of copies.

S-1 then employed the GIMP program -- as needed -- to crop, resize, scale,

colorize various images -- in addition to repairing any obvious "flaws"

 in any basic image structure -- whenever and however possible.

Because some individual(s) -- somewhere -- sometime -- may wish to claim original authorship

of some images -- or image-sets ----- S-1 has set up a special section on this website

where such claims will be posted.  But -- as for the "intellectual property" rights

associated with any of S-1's presentations -- hopefully, no harm, no foul.

Basically -- it must be stressed that AHLECs Keeper Library is

simply a FREE "teaching/learning tool" designed to help

people wishing to develop their personal skills in the

field of computer graphics via the GIMP program.

This involves "image manipulation" from raw

material image-sets in order to create a

 finished presentation -- that may be

freely shared with others -- via

the internet ------- with this

process being passed

along to others who

are encouraged

to do the

 same.
